Fairhaven, Bellingham Bay & Whatcom Falls.

Day two was action packed with lots of exploring!
We started the day off walking around Fairhaven!
 Such a cute little town!
We played with every toy we could get our hands on, including this darling puppet! Hudson was loving it.
We got a little carried away trying on hats!
After walking around we had lunch at this adorable double decker bus.
It was delicious and we shred salmon fish and chips!
Then shared a German Chocolate cone! :)
After lunch we went to pick up dad and brad from the airport then headed to Bellingham Bay! I had no idea that there were 172 islands off the coast of Washington, you learn something new every day!

 Peony flowers grow here!!!!
 Family walking!
That little line behind my head is land! Everywhere off the coast is land strips.
Jeff always wanted a picture on railroad tracks, so here it is haha.
 Making our way back up.
On our walk back to our cars, I couldn't help but make a barbie bouquet from all the weed flowers. Seriously, even their weeds are pretty haha.
After the bay we headed back to our rental where Steph made us a gourmet dinner! Steak, potatoes and grilled romane lettuce with a balsamic candy drizzle. It was as good as it looks!
After dinner we went and checked out Whatcom Falls.
The beautiful falls right by the entrance.
Another falls down the trail a little ways.
This is where they go cliff jumping.
Emme has been on an emotional rollercoaster, this is everyone imitating her at that moment haha.  I think Amanda really felt that way haha.
After Whatcom Falls we headed to Mallard Ice Cream. It was a funky little ice cream shop and their ice cream was bomb!
If we knew they only took cash, I might have made Jeff get his own hahaha we shared the vanilla malt and cookies and cream flavors.

This day was a blast and as soon as I got back to the rental I passed out! I was exhausted! I woke up at 3 still in my clothes (thanks a lot Jeff) hahaha.
We are having a blast and exploring like crazy! :)
Stay tuned for our next vacation update!
