Not Much and So Much all at once...

Here's what's been going on around here...
We had our second assembly at Dixie Sun Elementary and they LOVED it! I love seeing their faces light up when they are watching us dance around sharing a good message, it's so rewarding!
Mexico had a Hurricane scare and it gave me a scare! Luckily, the storm died down before it could cause too much damage.
Friday night was an amazing nail biting game between Dixie and Pine View. After defense held strong at the 3 yard line they took it down the field and scored on 4th down with 30 seconds left on the clock to win the game 31-28. IT WAS CRAZY!!!!
With that win, Dixie is the region champs! So proud of Jeff's commitment to the team this last year!
Saturday, I got my hair done by the amazing CECILEE!!! She colored my hair and gave me bangs! She is seriously so talented and I love that she is finally doing what she loves!
This week is Halloween week which means...OUR HAUNTED HOUSE FUNDRAISER FOR BYRON!!!! This is our first fundraiser for him and we are so excited! Please share and come support Byron!!!

Trips and Dates!

It was an extra great week, with Fall Break and all!
Here's what went down...
I dropped by Evan's for a scalp treatment and wax from Cec, then we went out to lunch.
I love random dates with my sister!
While grocery shopping I HAD to get this fall flower bouquet.
Isn't it beautiful?
I finally got some DSU apparel, it only took 5 years.
As I'm getting closer to graduation (YAY, FINALLY!) I realized that I didn't own a single item to show my school pride. No shirt, no pants, no stickers, no hats, not even a pen, so I had to change that.
Now I have some DSU memorabilia to show my alumni pride!
Friday night I planned a surprise "Stay-cation" date for Jeff. He was greeted with a sweet little scavenger hunt around our house to give him warm and fuzzies and then I surprised him with a stay at one of our local Hotels. It was fun to watch Jeff scavenge the house looking for clues to what we were doing for our date, his smile was priceless.
My grandma bought us a hotel voucher at one of Kalamity's benefit concert silent auctions and it was almost expired, so I decided to plan a little secret stay-cation and surprise Jeff.
After checking into our hotel we went out to dinner and a movie.
We decided to give Mad Pita a try to get excited for our upcoming trip to Greece, Italy, and Turkey!!!
I can't believe I forgot to blog about my graduation trip last week!!!
We officially booked my graduation trip for June 2016!!! (I don't know if you can tell, but I'M EXCITED!)
On our trip we will be going to Rome, Venice, Florence, Sicily, Santorini, Mykonos, Ephesus, Athens, Naples, and Capri. It's going to be an amazing and historical trip and now that it's booked I CAN'T WAIT!
Date night selfie before seeing Hotel Transylvania 2.
Then Saturday we headed up to the Cabin for my mom's birthday and for a little getaway.
We stopped in Springdale at Oscars for a birthday lunch. Note to self: Oscars gives free delicious desserts for birthdays, when I say delicious I mean DELICIOUS.
We were the last car with the bouton through the tunnel, so of course that means stopping and taking pictures in the tunnels.
Beautiful views of the cabin and from the cabin.
I couldn't not take pictures of these awesome mushrooms.
Sunday after having a nice birthday breakfast we packed up and headed home to celebrate the rest of my mom's birthday. We made a pit stop in Zion to run around on the rocks.
That is a lot steeper than it looks haha.
I will never get over how beautiful this world is.
 Amazing.
 I love my husband!
Isn't he dreamy?
Well we made it home before the storming began and then we celebrated the rest of my mom's birthday.
Happy birthday to my beautiful, funny, sweet, thoughtful, diva mom!!! I am so grateful for you and the special relationship we share! You are amazing in every way and I hope to be just like you one day! Celebrating your birthday this weekend has been unforgettable and I always love making you smile! I love you Mom!

It was a wonderful week full of wonderful things!

MID.

It's midterm already and I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!
When I hit midterm that's when I start thinking, okay I can do this, I'm on the downhill now!!!!
Halleluja!!!!
If you didn't know, Kalamity does a Haunted House fundraiser every year for our cause that year. This year our cause is Byron and we are donating all the money raised at the Haunted House to him!!!! So please mark your calendars, share it, and come support!!!! Even if you're too scared to go through we can do a mild walk through for you :)
Here is a little sneak peak to get you scared, haha.
We had our first better you assembly and it went great!!! The kids LOVED it and their faces showed the whole time. I love doing assemblies and feeling the energy of all the kids. We have 3 more scheduled as of right now, so if you would like to schedule one for your school contact me!!!
This was the gorgeous sky at the game in Hurricane Friday night. This picture has NO FILTER!
It was seriously so breathtaking and it was cool to watch it cascade back like a blanket until the sky was dark.
I know God loves us because he created such a beautiful place for us to live and gives us miracles every day, miracles like a sunrise and sunset.
Saturday Jeff and I decided to see what was going on at Town Square and turns out it was a music festival. While there I saw these beautiful bushes with flowers and had to take a picture so I can find these flowers for my own garden.
Saturday, I was an emotional wreck, hahaha hence the no make up (poor Jeff). But he always seems to love me and make my day better. The music festival was cool and it was just fun to walk around.
Sunday we celebrated Jeff's birthday again with his family! I love Jeff's birthday and my favorite part is hearing all the wonderful stories, memories, and qualities people love about Jeff. He really is such an incredible person with so much love and kindness. I am so grateful for him!!!
I love missionary Monday's and seeing the random pictures we get from Trevor hahaha. This picture was captioned, "for a good laugh." Mustache cat!

Well I'm learning continually to be grateful for what I have and to never give up on being better each day. I hope everyone has a wonderful week and and great day!!!

26 years wiser!!!

Another week has come and gone and it's officially October!
Seriously, where does time go???
Last Monday night I had a much needed girls night with Cec where we shopped and didn't buy anything! Oh and we tried on costumes haha.
Me as a shark.
Cec as a pink gorilla.
Wednesday night was the Snow Canyon and Dixie JV game where both Jeff and my dad were coaching.
My cute Dixie coach.
My awesome Snow Canyon coach dad.
Thursday night was the Varsity game between SC and Dixie. I always love watching Jeff warm up his running backs.
Being a SC alumni and a new Dixie supporter this game was intense with lots of cheering for both. It was a crazy game with lots of surprises where SC pulled out a win.
Cute Syd and some of her cheer friends.
Friday I pulled out my adorable late Spring and Summer flowers to prep for my Fall and Winter flowers. The only good thing about pulling out old flowers is having them fresh in your house.
Saturday morning was the St George marathon, where my Aunty Tia ran her 8th marathon. She is seriously amazing and I have no idea how she does it all. It was fun to be able to work at the 25 mile aid station and to cheer her on.
After the marathon craziness we headed up to Glendale to chill at the cabin for the weekend for Jeff's birthday. We stopped at Oscars for dinner...
 Drove through beautiful Zion.
Then got to the cabin to find that my dad's brother from Arizona had friends there. We didn't want to intrude on their plans so we turned right around and made our way back home, where I caught this shot on our way back through Zions. It wasn't the outcome that I had hoped for for the weekend, but Jeff and I had fun jamming out and talking in the car. I love those moments.
Sunday we watched General Conference where I bawled my eyes out the whole time. It was just what my spirit and soul needed. I felt spiritually renewed and ready to take on life again. There were so many quotes and thoughts that I wrote down and have been reflecting. I love that we have living prophets today who lead and guide our church under the direction of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. IT'S SERIOUSLY AMAZING!!!!
After watching the morning session of Conference, Jeff and I took a stroll around the temple where I found this little guy perched on a beautiful vibrant rose and it just reminded me of how amazing Conference is and the inspiration I've been receiving!
We headed to my parents house for the afternoon session where we watched the first hour then listened to the second hour as we drove to Pine Valley to spend some family time in nature.
It was beautiful and a little stormy but smelled AMAZING!!!
Nature (pine trees) + rain = heavenly smells.
We took the loop through Gunlock home where I stuck my head out the sunroof many times to capture pictures of the rainbow like this one.
Once we got back to my parent's house we had dinner, shared our favorite things about Jeff, Angel, and Cecilee (we missed their turn a couple weeks ago), then sang happy birthday to Jeff and ate cake.
I love spending time as a family and can't wait for the day Trevor is reunited with us!
Then today we've been celebrating Jeff like crazy! Because we had originally planned to be in Zions for Jeff's birthday, I changed our plans and winged it today to try to make him feel special!
I love him so much and I seriously have NO IDEA what I would do without him.
Here's how our day has gone...
Breakfast in bed, a classic!
Then I had to give him his gift, because I'm impatient like that. I got him a vinyl record player and a couple records of concerts we have been to together. I think he likes it because he's been playing it every chance he gets hahaha.
Then we got ready and headed out for the day. As we were driving we saw an old lady bent over picking up leaves, so we stopped and Jeff jumped out to help her and I snuck this picture of him. I love how sweet he is.
Then we went shopping. Got an Orange Peel. Then shopped some more.
After shopping we got him a 26 pizza at Pizza Factory and ate a delicious lunch together.
Then we caught a movie at Stadium 10. We saw "The Intern" and thought it was so cute.
After the movie we got Jeff's favorite ice cream at Sub Zero then headed home.
He is now headed to football practice to spend some of his birthday doing something he loves.
I am so grateful for him and his birth.

26 years wiser and handsomer too!!! He is the greatest thing to happen to me and I am so grateful for him and his love. He constantly makes me want to be better with his unconditional love, he makes me laugh every day, his smile is the highlight of every day, works so hard without seeking recognition, and gets more and more handsome every year. I don't ever want to picture what my life would be like without him. I love you @jeffe_hauck and I'm SO grateful to call you my husband, best friend, and eternal companion! I hope it's the best birthday yet!

It's been a crazy but awesome week! I hope everyone has an awesome week, I know I sure will!!!
