Welcome!!!

Another week has come and gone and I have a lot to be thankful for!
Here's my week in picture highlights...
Our sweet nephew Hudson Shaye Scott was born November 20th at 12:08 a.m. He weighed 8 pounds 12 ounces and 21 inches long and is absolutely perfect!
Jeff held him very first and first thing said, "Cam take a picture of me :)" I sure love him and I know Hudson is going to love him too!
 Here's the sweet angel!
Amanda is a beautiful and wonderful mom and I am so excited for her and for Hudson to grow up with such an amazing mom!
Saturday was full of photography, which was a blast! But between shoots I managed to snag some awesome garage sale finds and pick up a Veyo pie :0
Sunday came around and we all went to our cousin Austin Barker's homecoming, yes we all (full grown adults) crammed on the small front row bench and yes we were as comfortable as we look hahaha.
Welcome home elder! He served in Argentina and gave an awesome mission report!
Sunday I finally gave in and we decorated our home in Christmas decor! I tried not to but I couldn't help it, I am so excited! Especially because I bought decor on clearance last year!
Isn't Jeff adorable? :)
My box of ornaments from my first Christmas to now. My parents started this fun tradition when we were born and Jeff and I are carrying it on! Every year I can't help but tell Jeff about every ornament and what it represents!

I am so grateful for so many things but this week I am especially grateful for my family! I am so blessed and I know that all these blessing are possible because of the Lord!!!! With Thanksgiving this week don't forget to take a second to think of all the things you are grateful for!!!!
Have a beautiful week!

$15,500. Holiday Treats. Photography.

It's been crazy, as usual, but this week was a crazy success!
Last Monday was the Britton Shipp benefit concert and it was a great success! We (along with the community) raised $15,500 for Britton!
Last year I asked Jeff's grandma if I could come and make her annual Christmas treats with her, she gladly agreed and remembered to call me this year! I love getting to know her better while making yummy treats! She's an amazing lady and I feel blessed to call her my grandma!!!
We made peanut butter bars and peanut butter cups (my request), these two recipes are SO easy and SO delicious!
I love this lady! :)
My photography class is a lot of fun, it forces me to try new techniques and be creative. Product photography is so much harder than it looks! :) Here is one of my "food" assignments.
I've also been crazy busy with family photography sessions and it has been AWESOME! I especially love this family! The Koloa family is one of a kind, they are crafty, hard working, and hilarious!!!
If you are interested in booking a session in time for a Christmas card contact me ASAP and we can work something out!!! :)
Speaking of photography, I was extremely proud when we got this photograph from my little brother this last week! Looks like he learned a thing or two from my mom and me! #nofilter

Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderful week! Don't forget to look for ways to give service! :)
Until next week (cause it takes me that long to get caught up)...

Living Life :)

Time flies, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around the idea that it's November 10th!
WHAT???
Where does time go?
Meanwhile here's what went down this last week...
Sometimes we have random date nights with Cec and Angel. Costco run and all. Here's our big teddy friend again, but looks like a couple of his friends got adopted!
We had another assembly at Sunrise Ridge Intermediate that ended in another success!
I love being a part of Kalamity! Where else do you get the opportunity to give service, share your talents, and spread uplifting messages all with fun and uplifting people? I'm so blessed!
Saturday we got to spend time with Amy! We did sushi and a movie! She shared some exciting news with us...SHE'S GOING TO SERVE A MISSION! We are so excited for her!!! SHE'S AMAZING!
On our way to the movie theater we drove past some puppies for sale, as soon as we saw the pugs Jeff's inner crazy driving kicked in and next thing we were there holding the pugs!
Sunday was Chandler's farewell! Chandler is one of Trevor's best friends and another brother to me. He is called to serve in the Budapest, Hungary mission and reports to the MTC November 19th. So proud of him :)
And tonight...we are doing a benefit concert for Britton Shipp at Snow Canyon High School! There is a Hawaiian dinner, silent auction, bake sale, and amazing show all totaling a wonderful family night! :)
That our week for you!!!
Hope to see you all tonight!

Assemblies, Screams, & Sixteen.

Another week has come and gone and this was one of the busiest in a while.
Here's what went on this week (and lately)...
Hurricane Valley Academy a couple weeks ago!
Assemblies! We put together another assembly this year because last year was such a success! Last year our assembly was on bullying, this year our assembly is on making good choices: standing up to bullying, saying no to drugs, and loving yourself! We have been to three schools already!!!
Two just this past week!
Little Valley Elementary!

Red Mountain Elementary (my old stomping ground)
After all our assembly madness it was time to get the Haunted House fundraiser in order.
My aunt and I head up this fundraiser because we love it! We had our first haunted house last year and decided to make it a tradition.
This year we did an Insane Asylum theme and it was a huge success! We made $1, 380 in two nights and heard LOTS of screaming!!!!
Angel and Cecilee came and helped!
Probably my favorite picture from the Haunted House!
The bedroom scene...scary!!!
Closet scene with our nurse station behind.
Stairway
Jeff was our CRAZY therapist that uses the technique of shock therapy :)
Kitchen scene with our beloved Koloa family! Luci (our amazing cause) did all the makeup and they made our electric chair and this crazy canibal table.
Me as Molly (one of the Mollys) as a tour guide.
Syd came and helped too! It was a blast to have my family there too!
We also had a date night to Thriller with Cec, Angel, Syd and her two friends! :) It was a blast to be so festive!

Then Syd turned 16! Her birthday was Saturday and she went on her first date and her first dance on her birthday. She was so excited but came home from the date heartbroken. Her close friend, Britton Shipp, was critically injured on the day date and is now in the hospital in a coma. She cried all weekend long and I felt so helpless, but we still tried to celebrate and make her feel special!
This picture cracks me up every time! After I showed her this picture she said, "How do people take cute candle blowing out pictures?" hahahahha!
We love our Syd and for her gift we redid her room! (Pictures to come!)

It was definitely a CRAZY week with ups and downs but overall it was a reminder to cherish the memories made each day, make relationships count, and never forget to be grateful!
We are going to doing a benefit concert for Britton within the next week or so, so stay tuned and be sure to support this amazing family!
Hope everyone has a great week, take a second to count your blessings.
