CRAZY!!!

This week has been extremely crazy, even crazier than usual...
But here are just a few.
(Pictures and details on first week of college, Cec's surprise party/proposal, Laura Taylor benefit concert, and Trevor's farewell all to come...)
I finished the Book of Mormon again the other day and was once again BLOWN AWAY by how amazing it is. It's incredible how new things pop out each time and I hear stories that I don't ever hearing before. If you haven't taken the challenge to read the Book of Mormon and pray to know if it's true, I challenge you to try it! You won't lose anything, you'll only gain more knowledge and culture!
(If you don't have a copy and want one, email me at cambriairene@gmail.com)
This kid is walking now, and I like to think that I started that. Haha. It's always a good time when he's around!
 Sweet shadows :)
The surprise invite I emailed around!
I'm excited to post the details, cost breakdown, and pictures of this party!!!
I'm so excited for Cec, she deserves all the best things in this life!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, that's enough update I can handle tonight.
Stay posted, cause the next few are definitely worth the look out!

Still here.

In case you were wondering...I'm still here.
Just been caught up in life.
But what else is new?
Here's a quick recap before I head to my last class for the day.
(Yes, school started today...)
One of my favorites from Trevor's missionary shoot!
I love this kid so much! Here is his invite to this Sunday's talk and shindig! You are all invited!
One of my favorites from Amber's wedding I shot last weekend! Still in the editing process, but I'm getting there! :)
When I crave sushi, I head to Ichiban and hit up their sushi bar and drink a Mountain Dew. PERFECT COMBINATION! No joke....
We caught one last temple session as a family and for Trevor's friend, Chandler's endowment before the temple closed Saturday!
My handsome cousin, Jaden, gave his farewell talk this last Sunday and blew me away! He's going to be an amazing missionary! I especially loved his interpretation of Peter walking on water.
I'll give you the quick version and let you apply it how you will...
We are Peter. The water is sin. The winds and waves are temptations around us. When we have faith we stay above and keep our eye on our Savior. When we fear we begin to fall in the water. Christ is always there to lift us when we fall. Faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ is the antidote to all fear!!!!

I'll leave you with that note! I hope everyone has a beautiful Monday!
Think positive...I know I need to with school here already! :)

Weekly thoughts.

I'm afraid to admit that I've been caught thinking too much lately.
Here are the things running in my mind...
The beach...when we went to Dana Point with my family Jeff got this WICKED sunburn. I joke and say that we would suffer through another sunburn if it meant we could be at the beach, and I MEAN IT! Missing the beach big time and not quite ready for school to start next week. Ready or not, here school comes...
(We are learning that the sunscreen goes on before the beach...haha).
Clothes and sisters! Cec and I have always shared clothes, so now that we don't share a closet we just get the same clothes and send pictures of the outfits all put together!!! She wore it better!
I've been thinking A LOT about Trevor leaving and I'm excited, sad, happy, anxious, nervous, and hopeful for Trevor! I know it's going to be an incredible experience for him, I just don't like to think of him not being around. Change is hard, but ALWAYS worth it.
I'm always day dreaming about this handsome man! He was looking extra fine this last Sunday and I couldn't help but sneak a picture of him. His jacket we got at the D.I. for $10, his tie at Ross for $3, and his shirt at Ross for $10. Looking fly under $25!!!
I've been dreaming of kids a lot lately and I really can't wait to be a mom. Sunday Emme and Amy were looking at "Mickey Mouse" on the computer and I couldn't help but snap a picture of the two of them. Amy heads off to college this Saturday and although I'm excited for her, I'm sad that Sundays will be Amy-less. Amy has always been there and I can't believe she is grown up and moving. WHERE DOES TIME GO???
This was just sweet! Emme and Millie cuddling haha. :)

My thoughts go off in LOTS of other directions and I'm nervous about upcoming changes, but I have faith and I am ready to face all the changes with a smile!!!

Summer Fun.

Well I've been a little behind in blogging, but here's what some of our summer fun has looked like.
(Fun through phone pictures, please excuse the quality)
Breakfast and swim party at Mom and Dad Hauck's house for the 24th of July! :)
We're spoiled with pools at both parent's houses.
Some more swimming. And Trevor hanging out in his little boat he built. Haha he cracks me up, I'm really going to miss him.
I wrap up in the soft blanket Trevor gave me and read my birthday cards before bed and cry sometimes hahaha. Nothing like feeling loved.
Another Martin delivery. LONG STORY. Sum of it...Jeff sold his "rich mohagony" guitar because he thought the grass was greener on the other side.
Whole story...Jeff had a random thought to sell his guitar to maybe get a different one. I argued with him to keep his guitar and that he would regret it and told him that he couldn't get another one if it did sell, but he listed it to "see if it would get interest". Well it sold the second day it was on there and Jeff was sad and I was mad. He tried out guitars at the Guitar Center and decided that there wasn't any other guitar that compared to the one he just sold so he begged me to get another one and did lots of nice things for me. After a week I gave in and let him get another one, but only after a BIG "I told you so. Are you going to FINALLY start listening to me???" Haha. It came in the mail and we were right back to where we started.
Don't ask me about the price difference of the first one and the second one.
HAHAHA MEN!!!
But I still love him haha.
Lightning storm struck one of the trees at our church building.
Tuacahn AGAIN! This time with the whole family! We had killer second row seats and frozen water bottles, it was IDEAL! We saw Joseph and it brought back memories from the last time Tuacahn did it and Cecilee and I were in it!
I've had 4 photo session ins 4 days and especially loved this shoot with my aunt and friends!

SUMMER has been mighty good to us and I'm not looking forward to it ending. :(
But I'm definitely going to soak up this last two weeks!!!

Created for us!

I am in love with The Cliffrose Lodge.
It was seriously GORGEOUS!
It felt like a fairytale land because of all the beautiful mountains, flowers, river, nice pool, breakfast in the yard, deer wandering in the yard, green green grass, star gazing, and just beautiful weather. (No specific order haha.)
I took a lot of pictures because it was really beautiful.
Enjoy.
View right out of our room.
Walkways with beautiful flowers and plants lining them.
Pretty flowers.
More gorgeous flowers. See what I mean....fairytale land.
Another day living the life for this bug.
The walkways remind me of Turtle bay, especially with all the flowers. It's beautiful.
View from breakfast in the yard.
Last picture of the side walks hahahaha.
I don't know why we don't go to Zions more? It's right around the corner and is absolutely stunning. That mountain's not even in the park.
On our way home we stopped on the Grafton bridge and tried out my new camera remote. A little rough without my tripod (when am I going to learn to bring it???) but I think they turned out just fine!

We have WAYYYY too much fun together. I love him.
On our way home we stopped to see my grandpa and Tierra. The night before I was really missing him so Jeff and I shared memories of him by the pool while looking up at the stars. I cried and Jeff comforted me. I love and miss my grandpa every day!
My grandma keeps his grave extra pretty.
Tierra's cute grave! Tierra is my Aunt Irene's first born. She died a few days after birth. She is now 17 and I know she was there to give my grandpa a warm welcome when he passed through the vail.

We had a beautiful time in Zions and I can't wait til the next time we get to go out there!
If you're ever looking for a place to stay up there, stay at the Cliffrose Lodge and I know you won't be disappointed!!!!!
Hope everyone has a beautiful sabbath!
On this sabbath I am grateful for the BEAUTIFUL earth the Lord created for us and I'm EXTREMELY grateful for the plan of salvation. :)
I know that both, the Earth and the Plan was created for us to give us the purest joy and peace while here in this mortal life.

75 years wiser.

Jeff's grandpa, Papa Joe, is now 75 years old!
Jeff's mom put together a little birthday celebration in Zions at The Cliffrose Lodge (which is a gorgeous property that Jeff's cousin owns).
The property is right next to the river so you can go down and play in the river too.
Jeff throwing Emme :) as usual!
 She loves it!

 Priceless.
Part of the property with deer roaming around. No big!

We had a nice evening! Sloppy "Joe's" for dinner then Jeff's mom put together a beautiful movie with pictures of Papa Joe through the years. He was touched.

 Emme and aunty Steph!
The man on the left on the screen is Papa Joe. He was a movie star in a western! :) Then and now.
 Aunt Kim and Papa Joe.
 Mom and Papa Joe!
Then we sang happy birthday (after almost starting a fire).

The property is gorgeous and we are so happy to be here celebrating with Papa Joe!!!!
