Chillin'

This week was really chill compared to previous weeks, and I really enjoyed it!

 Tuesday nights are our designated date nights! So with Amy leaving, we went to see her at work one last time before she leaves. We ordered and before our meal she brought out a dessert for us (she knows us well)!!! She is such a sweetheart and we are really going to miss her!

 And her cute drawings and notes!

 After being gone for two straight weeks, it is sure nice to be home! I love my little humble home :)

 Syd had her camp show off this last week! It was fun to go and watch her and to remember my days as a Snow Canyon cheerleader.

 Friday we took on a little painting project! We painted my parent's built in entertainment center an accent color to make it pop out a little more! It seems every year we take on new project as anniversary gifts for my parents, even though they don't want them hahaha. 

I don't think my mom loves the color, so we might be repainting it, but Cec, Syd, Angel, and I love it, Jeff and Dad like it, and Mom changes her mind frequently hahaha.

 Then it was Father's Day! 

I would feel extremely ungrateful if I didn't take a second to brag about my wonderful dad! Thanks to him I can throw a football, appreciate a good laugh, cook by taste buds, and understand the importance of the gospel in my life! He has always loved and supported me in everything! He believes in me and believes the best in me! I am so grateful for him! I love you dad!

 Cec and I made this cake for our Father's day dinner! I had to try to dress it up because my frosting job was HIDEOUS! Hahahha, but it tasted delicious!

I love my dad and my father-in-law as well! It was a great day spent with both dad's and sharing things we love about both of them!

Today is my parent's 24th anniversary! I am SOOOOOO grateful they found each other, fell in love, and sealed the deal in the Los Angeles temple! They are the most amazing parents and I would not be here if it weren't for their eternal love (haha). Love you Mom and Dad!

THIS WEEK.

You guessed it, it's been another crazy week. 

Because of that, I'm blending it all together into one post! 

Here we go...

 For my mom's birthday we put together a missionary wall! :) This is Trevor's very first letter, the letter he read on the video I made for him, (this video) with a map of Mexico and heart over his mission. 

 We also took one of Trevor's old ties and made it into a countdown! On the 3rd of every month my mom can cut off a link of the tie! (We thought this would be nice, especially cause Trevor had a countdown before he left on his mission.)

 Then Cecilee put together this shirt and badge frame! :) 

I'll be sure to post a picture of the finished product!

 We celebrated my Mom's birthday last Sunday, here is the DELICIOUS cake that Cec made!

Jeff came home grumpy last Thursday, but these HUGE teddy bears sure cheered him up!

 Saturday we took on the project of putting a new sprinkler system in! My dad was the brains and we were the labor. It took all day but we had a good time working together and beautifying our yard! :)

 Angel moved down Friday night, just in time to help with the yard! Haha :) I'm so excited for him and his new adventures with Cec!!!

 We have the greatest family, we had my dad, mom, Cec, Angel, Syd, Grandpa Horlacher, Andy, Joe and Bree all come and help!!!

Our finished product! I LOVE IT! Although we are only renting from my grandparents, I sure love doing project to improve it!

 If you didn't know, I've been doing a million apple recipes lately. I've canned a total of 30 jars of applesauce! I feel like such a homemaker :)

 Apple chips, I still haven't mastered this one yet. 

We are down to our last 3 boxes of apples! HURRAY!

On a closing note, we have our annual Haunted House fundraiser this Thursday and Friday! Come get scared and donate to a great cause! ALL PROCEEDS GO TO OUR CAUSE, LUCI! If you can come, PLEASE DO, if not you can still donate here.

45 years and wiser too...

Yesterday was my mom's 45th birthday! 

CRAZY!!!

She spent her birthday helping with a neighbors funeral (love you Natalie), a quick lunch with my dad, then off to work the closing night of "The Little Mermaid" up at Tuacahn.

My mom is an amazing person, she is always so giving and kind and she makes everything she does look easy with her beautiful smile.

In honor of her birthday, I thought I'd share a few things you might not know about my mom!

Here's a couple things you might not know about my mom:

• She loves oreos (that's where Trevor and I developed our passion for oreos)
• She does the finger dance when she dances
• She supports her kids in EVERYTHING they do! It's amazing!
• She is wife, mother, daughter, is in the Stake young womens, Ivins princess pageant director, works a day job, a night job, and manages to do a million others things as well. She's amazing!
• Her favorite color is red
• She will only eat a pb&j sandwich if she can dip it in chocolate milk
• She is queen of taking pictures and having them posted for everyone within minutes!
• Her full name is: Tonya Irene Dole Singataonga Ah Quin Horlacher
• She sleeps through every movie she "watches"
• Her dream would be to make peoples wishes come true every day! :) (like make a wish foundation)

She is kind, giving, loving, caring, supportive, happy, and so Christlike and is my role model! I am so blessed to call her my mom and literally would not be here today if it weren't for her!!! I love you Mom and I hope you know how much you are loved by your family and friends!!!

Mother's Day Weekend.

Weekends are always a blur to me.

It's a good thing I take too many pictures or else I wouldn't remember what I did!

So here's my awesome weekend in pics.

Friday, Cec and I took my mom Mother's Day shopping and bought her several outfits! :) I always buy my mom clothes for Mother's Day, this year was a little different cause my mom has been losing weight with Herbalife, so Cec and I decided to make a day of it and go shopping and take her to lunch! I'm sad I didn't get a picture of all three of us :( NEXT TIME!!! But check out my rockin' mom!

 That evening I picked some mulberries at my aunt's house then headed over to my Hauck parent's for a dinner date and jam making! I always love making jam with my mother-in-law, I love the time we get to just talk, priceless. Yes I bought those pants earlier that day while shopping with my mom and Cec, and yes I can't wait to wear new clothes when I get them. HAHAHA.

NOTE: next time wear different shoes, my feet are still purple from the mulberries.

 Saturday my family picked us up and we headed to Cedar for Trev's play off rugby games! It was a long but fun day as a family, but I was reminded why I hate Cedar...BIPOLAR WEATHER. Trevor won both games, Cec and I laughed too much, Jeff and Dad got sunburned, Mom visited with everyone, and Syd was connected to Aspen as usual so that all sums up the fun day!

My parents dropped us off home Saturday night at about 7! I laid down for a second and PASSED OUT! I seriously slept from 7:00 pm to 8:00 am...and I missed the Hurst reception :(

The next morning I was wide awake after getting 13 hours of sleep so I kept trying to wake Jeff up hahaha and that's when I took this lovely. I love my rudolph sleepy sweetie.

 I finally woke him up and he ran into the kitchen where he made me some breakfast and surprised me with gifts for "Mother's Day"

 I got a new 6D camera (Mother's Day/Graduation Gift), a boutinier he bought from the yw fundraiser, a beautiful card, and breakfast. I would've been happy with just the card but he's always going above and beyond. How did I get so lucky??? I'm not even a mom yet...just imagine when I am! :) 

Hahaha...I LOVE YOU JEFF! LIKE A LOT!!!!!!!!

 After church we ran over to The Hauck's to talk to Elder Hauck!!!! It's always so uplifting to see him and hear his adventures!

We sure miss him but are so proud of him! I love this picture cause I think it really shows the genuine love in this Mom and son relationship. :)

We ended the day at my family's get together where I was reminded just how lucky I am!!!

Life is beautiful, so are Mother's!

I'm so grateful for my Mom and for my mother-in-law and for all the women who are such wonderful examples to me! I am RICHLY BLESSED!!!!

So as usual, another busy week has come and gone but here are the things I snapped pictures of this week...

 I'm finally reading a book that's not a textbook, after WAY too long! Such an inspiring book! I suggest it to anyone, and it's a short read so even better!

 My husband is the best, he still ties my shoes and I'm not even pregnant :)

Then Legend of course wanted to be in the picture, haha, love these boys!

The week was full of homework, tests, work, dance, and chores so I was extremely grateful when the weekend finally came...

We started it off with an AWESOME fundraiser for Luci, our 2014 cause! There were pictures, food, and ballroom dancing and it was a BLAST! If you missed this one you won't want to miss the next one, maybe we'll try a swing dance or salsa...you never know?

Posing with confidence (thanks to Herbalife, we've been doing it for 3 weeks now and I've lost 7 pounds and 4.5 inches! HURRAY! Jeff has lost 11 pounds and 8 inches. Those marriage pounds sneak up on you!) Oh and Jeff was sick, hence the face hahahahhahaha.

 Saturday Trevor had 2 rugby games that we were excited to go to! It was a fund reminder of how Saturdays used to be when we were little kids and we had fun together as a family. Cec and I of course laughed way too much and way too loud but that's why we are sisters and best friends! 

Yeah, the weather was bi-polar so I dressed for the worst (cause you can always take layers off but you can't put them on if you don't have them. A motto I learned from my mom!) and I'll tell you what, I was never cold or hot.

 As we were taking a picture I noticed the guys head in the back so I had the genius idea of pretending to hold it hahaha. We are dorks!

 (We apologize if you know this guy and feel offended that we were pretending to hold his head.)

 Trev tore it up! I'm starting to realize that he is really graduating and there isn't going to be any more high school sports games to go support him at. (I'm crying while thinking about it.) It's sad. BUT look at those killer leg muscles!

I'm sorry for the picture overload but my philosophy is, "there is no such thing as TOO many pictures." I probably learned that one from my Mom too. Haha.
