New Year!!!

It's a new year! I can't even believe it's 2016 already, but I'M READY!!!
Because I've made blogging an every couple week thing (by accident, and busyness) I'm catching up once again. We went to Daddy's Home on theater Tuesday a couple weeks ago and it was fun just being together!
Also, Daddy's Home is not a family movie hahaha (adult humor), to be more clear...DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS!
New years eve was a nice quiet evening with my love. We went to dinner at Players Sports Grill, bought sparklers, took fun sparkler pictures, then I fell asleep and Jeff woke me up with a New Years kiss at midnight. We are getting old, and I don't mind at all.
New Years day I got a text from Cec in the morning asking if I wanted to get dressed up, have her do my hair, and take pictures...UH YEAH! So we played dress up and took pictures, it was a blast and I think we are going to make these styled shoots a monthly thing.
Cec rocking a classically royal look.
Syd looking beautiful in her bold nature look.
Me in my red on red on red look.
I love my sisters and all the fun we have. Not pictured is my mom telling us how to pose haha.
Back in December my mom texted me and asked if I wanted to be a part of their Relief Society craft night where they were painting their own Hello Happy House Co. wreaths and of course I said YES!!! I finally got to finishing it and hanging it on my door and I LOVE IT!
Last weekend Jeff and I went up to one of his cousin's weddings at the Ogden Temple.
We didn't get to do any work in this temple, but we got to see inside a little and I'm going to count it as one of our 21 temples haha. I love my eternal companion, beard and all!
Jeff is pretty proud of that beard, it has every color in it...red, blonde, black, brown, and this picture was to show him the colors. However, I gave him so much grief about not keeping it groomed nice and so he trimmed it down to a 3, which was too short for him, and all I've been hearing is how he misses his beard and how his face is cold. HAHAHA diva.
The happy handsome couple.
We played on our own all day then went back to party at their reception. We had fun visiting with everyone and catching up, we also had a good time with the sparklers if you can't tell.
Then there was a beautifully Christmas light lit park that I couldn't resist exploring, so I made Jeff walk over with me and we walked around in this winter wonderland.
Monday night I came home to a homemade lobster dinner made by Jeff!!! I couldn't believe it because he always asks me how to cook things, I don't even know how to cook lobster and he didn't ask me or anything, and he used the broiler which I've never used. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. How did I get so lucky???
One of my young women asked if she could teach me to make tamales and corn husk dolls for her personal progress, of course I said yes. Tamales are A LOT of work, but it was worth it because they were delicious and this little doll turned out pretty cute too.
My aunty Tia turned 30 this last weekend so we partied hard with breakfast Saturday morning.
Then that evening we headed to Springdale to celebrate her birthday with some of her close friends. It was a surprise put together by Andy and Karla and I think she was surprised, for the most part.
I loved seeing all the beautiful mountains capped with snow.
30 flirty and thriving!
All the girls!
Today was my last first day of school!!!! HURRAY!!!! So of course that calls for a selfie! I'm just barely starting to enjoy school (of course haha) so it's a bittersweet, MOSTLY SWEET, moment for me!!!!
I can't wait for what the future has in store!!!!
