Family Eternal. Friends Forever.

I was able to grow closer to my family and make so many amazing friends in Hawaii. I not only fell in love with Hawaii itself, but with the people I met and grew closer to there. I made the kind of friendships that will last forever. I want to tell a few things about each of them and how they touched my life. There's no specific order.

Shez Hannemann
I absolutely love Shez! He's funny, caring, and always up for making the most of things. Me and Shez did everything together. He truly became one of my best friends. I miss jamming out to "E.T." in the car, playing the dance game, watching random movies, surfing, and just having fun with Shez. He is really one of the funnest people I will ever know. Shez reminded me of my little brother, he just knew when to have fun, and when to be serious. He knows when to comfort with words and when to comfort with silence. I know that I can always rely on him. He taught me to love life no matter what. He is the perfect example of the quote, "Come what may...and love it." Love you Shez!

Uncle Arthur and Aunty Peggy
Wow, where to start. These are two amazing people. They always put the Lord first and do anything they can to be an instrument in His hands. I learned how important missionary work is. Every week they had a new friend over to talk the missionary discussions and every time they shared their love of the gospel and their love for them. I am grateful for that and I want to be just like that. It also amazed me how they instantly trusted me with everything. They let me use their car anytime and made me feel like their daughter. They made my stay in Hawaii a dream, really and truly. It's rare that you go somewhere and truly feel like your at home. Thank you Uncle Arthur and Aunty Peggy for everything you taught me and for loving me. I love you guys!

River
River was my little 3 year old boyfriend! Although he is so young I really admired his love. He loved me with his whole heart and never held back. It sounds silly cause he's a little kid but you can learn a lot from children. I loved how he gave me 30 hugs a day, accompanied with kisses. I love how he always wanted me to do everything with him. He's such a sweet little boy with a really special spirit. River taught me a lot about how I should love others. I miss River! Love you River!

River came and woke me up and we had a little fun with photo booth :)
I love this kid!

Seek and Bree
These two are absolutely adorable! I want to find a love like they have one day. They are definitely best friends that are on the road to eternity together and they love every moment of it. I loved watching them joke around about silly things, get excited over watching the Bachelorette together, go surfing together, never go anywhere without the other, jam out to Taylor Swift in the car, and many other things. They both are beautiful inside and out. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know them better, both individually and toghether. I love you guys! Thanks for loving each other!!

This is what love is :) haha

Trey Fortucci
Trey...what to say...I love this kid. From the moment I met him he felt like an instant friend. You know those people you meet and you feel like you connect on a different level with them, it's like you knew them before, yeah that's how it was with Trey. He felt like a brother to me. We joked that we were twins, well it would actually have to be triplets cause he already has a twin. I had some really deep talks with him and I really respected the things he had to say, because they just made sense. He became a dear friend. He taught me that I can make hard decisions and that whatever comes of it is what was supposed to come. I loved being around Trey, because he really felt like my brother and we always had so much fun teasing each other like brother and sister. I really hope you join the church one day Trey, I know you know it's true. Don't hold back. You know it's true so it's time you act on it. Don't worry about the consequences (good or bad) because like you taught me, ultimately whatever is supposed to happen will happen and it will all work out in the end. You're an amazing person and I'm so grateful for the opportunity I had to meet you. I love ya Trey daddy! Haha

Maya Vail
Beautiful Maya! The very first time I met Maya I was kind of intimidated! Maya is gorgeous, friendly, she demands the attention in the room, she's talented, sweet, funny, she's got it all. But I'm so blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know Maya! She was my first friend in Hawaii, and pretty much my instant best friend. We did everything together for the first two weeks when she was there. I miss just going from beach to beach and just talking. I really admire the person you are Maya. I know you've been through a lot of things that have helped to shape the amazing person you are today. Just always remember who you are and where you've been. Know that you are beautiful inside and out. And most importantly...know I love you! :) Thanks for breaking me into Hawaii, you did a dang good job because now all I want is to be in Hawaii! Hahah Love you!

Kevin Baize
Kevy...where to start! Kevin is a big flirt, he just loves girls. Haha but that's why I love this kid. My favorite compliment was "you have a face of an angel..." (hahahahha) I spent quite a few hours helping Kevin with his eagle, the eagle he only had two weeks to complete before he turned 18. Kevin knows how to feel, and I really admired that about him. He didn't hold back, even if rejection could be involved. He is a genuine flirt, if that makes sense? Ha! With all that said, Kevin is a good friend. I loved teasing him, and although he acted upset, he knew that I loved him as a friend. I am so glad I had the opportunity to meet Kevin, and ultimately meet Meagan through him. He's a genius and he is definitely going to go somewhere one day. Good luck with everything Kevy, love ya!
