The morning of the 10th we got up early (which was pretty hard after our late night adventure) and ran down to the laundromat which was conveniently located on the same road as our airbnb. We had to get this done fast because we needed to catch our train to Rome Termini and then to Civitavecchia.
While our clothes washed Jeff ran to a bakery around the corner for some breakfast.
I don't know how they get their pastries so perfect but they were both so good. The sandwich didn't even have any dressing on it and it was so moist and yummy.
MMM literally melted in your mouth...yeah, I inhaled it!
Then we caught our train and enjoyed the views.
We didn't think the cruise ships were that far from the train so we walked and walked and walked once we got to Civitavecchia. This is the Forte Michelangelo right in the cruise port.
After walking forever we found where we needed to go and made our way to the ship.
Love him and all our adventuring.
View from the elevator on our ship, Jewel of the Seas.
Our room! Thanks to Jeff and his awesome skills he kept an eye on the deals and called in every time the price of our cruise dropped, we got this upgraded balcony room!!!
Sunset views every night :)
Mini golf on the ship!
You know how I feel about sunsets...yes please!
We cruised all day and took in our new home for the next 10 days!!!
