Hasta Luego, Vegas Skies, Clean, Warm Hearts.

This last week ended up being really action packed...
We said "hast luego" to our beloved Amy and we are all missing her already (it hasn't even been a week haha.)
BUT she will be the sweetest missionary and she will truly bless SO many lives.
Our original plan for this week was to go up to our Hannemann family reunion, however, with Emilee's baptism on such short notice, we didn't have enough time to make it there and back. (Cost wise, time wise, and distant wise, we couldn't make it work.)
So with 24 hours off of work, we decided to not let Jeff's day off go to waste, and we left Thursday after work for a little Vegas getaway.
I booked the cheapest (nicest possible for price) hotel and we headed to Vegas.
We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and got a free suite upgrade to a bigger room with a jet tub :) YAY! Right after checking in we headed to the pool, where we swam for a good hour.
Thursday night we went to Ceasar's Palace, where we enjoyed some Cheesecake Factory and shopping at H&M.
Then we headed back to our room, where I enjoyed my S'mores cheesecake in bed! :) WIN!
Friday morning I woke up around 5 to use the restroom when I caught this view through the window, of course I had to take a picture. (The purple is the reflection of the Hard Rock neon lights on the white wall.)
We had breakfast at Mr. Lucky's in the Hard Rock Hotel, and I was impressed!
We had a DELICIOUS egg, sausage, cheese, salsa, avacado quesadilla and french fries (for me) haha. We were pleasantly surprised!
Hard Rock has some really nice pools with a tropical theme (my favorite).
They even have the sandy beach!
We were at the pool right when it opened at 9, and the water was already 90 degrees! But we didn't mind!
Pool view! After swimming, we checked out at noon then went shopping crazy! :) I GOT LOTS OF NEW CLOTHES FOR KILLER DEALS! And I was REALLY excited! I have the best husband who spoils me and loves me so much, diva and all!
Saturday morning was Emilee's baptism and it was great!!! So excited for her and her growing testimony!
That night my mom hooked us up with ticket's to Tuacahn's "When You Wish" and it was adorable!!!
Sunday we (Hauck family) got together and opened this letter that Amy left for everyone to open together! In it, there was a link to a video she made for everyone titled "A Love Letter" and yes, it made me cry like a baby! She is seriously the sweetest!
Life is great and I am richly blessed! I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Chillin'

This week was really chill compared to previous weeks, and I really enjoyed it!
Tuesday nights are our designated date nights! So with Amy leaving, we went to see her at work one last time before she leaves. We ordered and before our meal she brought out a dessert for us (she knows us well)!!! She is such a sweetheart and we are really going to miss her!
And her cute drawings and notes!
After being gone for two straight weeks, it is sure nice to be home! I love my little humble home :)
Syd had her camp show off this last week! It was fun to go and watch her and to remember my days as a Snow Canyon cheerleader.
Friday we took on a little painting project! We painted my parent's built in entertainment center an accent color to make it pop out a little more! It seems every year we take on new project as anniversary gifts for my parents, even though they don't want them hahaha.
I don't think my mom loves the color, so we might be repainting it, but Cec, Syd, Angel, and I love it, Jeff and Dad like it, and Mom changes her mind frequently hahaha.
This picture doesn't give it justice!
 Then it was Father's Day!
I would feel extremely ungrateful if I didn't take a second to brag about my wonderful dad! Thanks to him I can throw a football, appreciate a good laugh, cook by taste buds, and understand the importance of the gospel in my life! He has always loved and supported me in everything! He believes in me and believes the best in me! I am so grateful for him! I love you dad!
Cec and I made this cake for our Father's day dinner! I had to try to dress it up because my frosting job was HIDEOUS! Hahahha, but it tasted delicious!
I love my dad and my father-in-law as well! It was a great day spent with both dad's and sharing things we love about both of them!
Today is my parent's 24th anniversary! I am SOOOOOO grateful they found each other, fell in love, and sealed the deal in the Los Angeles temple! They are the most amazing parents and I would not be here if it weren't for their eternal love (haha). Love you Mom and Dad!

Happy Girls Camper & More...

This last week started in Washington.
Monday was our last day and we caught a flight home that same night.
This was our awesome rental house for our vacation.
It was just as cute inside as it was outside.
This water lily was picked and laying on the ground, so Brad saved it and we enjoyed it when it woke up!
Monday after checking out of our rental, we headed to the mall for some shopping!
I love succulents and this wall art was made of succulents.
After the mall we went to Rocket Donuts and enjoyed 50% off donuts.
Then it was homeward bound for us all. I love looking out the windows, and this was our parting view.
 More of the sky.
 And sunset in the sky.
Tuesday I got this lovely letter from my awesome little brother! It totally made my day and warmed my heart! I love him so much and I am so grateful for his faithfulness!
Then Wednesday morning I was off to girls camp to fulfill my calling as the girls camp director assistant. It was a great experience to go as a leader and to have the realization of all the hard work that was put into my many years of girls camp.
Girls camp was on Cedar Mountain and I enjoyed all the birch trees.
Did I mention that they smell amazing???
My favorite part of girls camp was solo time. During that time everyone goes off into nature for an hour and a half to read scriptures, write in journals, pray, and just contemplate on life and the future. This time for me was very special and I had inspiration that I desperately needed.
I started my solo time off with a BEAUTIFUL letter from Jeff that just started the water works, then the whole hour and a half that followed the tears kept falling. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband that truly sees the best in me and makes me always want to be better.
This was my view from my solo time spot.
This was me the morning of day 4! No make up, no shower, and lots of memories made.
I was ready to get home!!!
My aunt was able to come up the last night and I was so grateful to see her! It had been like two weeks and my spirits were ready to get home, so her smiling face gave me the boost of energy I needed to finish out girls camp. I also had a realization of how grateful I am for her and our friendship, she is always there for me, she is always making everything more fun, and together we make a great team! Seeing all the girls reactions to her arrival brought back memories of when I was their age and everytime "Aunty Tia" came around I would be so excited and know that it was party time!
We got home Saturday afternoon and I was greeted with a clean house, freshly manicured yard, and a loving husband who was anxious to see me. I am so grateful for him!
After a quick shower we headed to Legend's 5th birthday party! It's crazy to think that he is 5!!! Holy smokes, time flies! It was a swim party at my Uncle Clay's house and Jeff and I had too much fun with Alma Ty. I swam with him and then Jeff snuggled and fed him.
I think it's ridiculously clear how baby hungry we are.
After the party we headed to babysit Emme and Hudson, and I regret to say that I forgot to snap a picture of the fun we had there!
Then Sunday was Amy's mission farewell, and she blew it out of the water! Her talk was amazing, the spirit was strong, and she is going to be one incredible missionary.
I am so proud of her and the wonderful woman she is! She is truly going to bless the Mexican people of Hermosillo.
Again, I slacked in the picture department, and totally spaced taking pictures all day! I am so bummed and I feel bad that I forgot to take pictures, but it was a beautiful day!
Then we checked off one of the activities on Amy's pre-mission bucket list and made a family movie based around these pinatas! :)
Here is a little film of Amy's Mission Picture session!

It was a wonderful week full of the love of God and the hope that the gospel brings!
I am grateful for the opportunities we have to feel the love of God and to take that love and make changes in our lives. I know that through our Savior, we can all find joy and truly endure this mortal life.
Life is good!

Holy Day.

Sunday was our relax at home day.
We went to 9:00 sacrament meeting as a family! We are always away from our ward on fast Sunday so I never bear my testimony, however this week I was overwhelmed and although I didn't want to bear my testimony, I felt I needed to bear my testimony for myself. I don't feel that I have that hard of struggles until I do something I've been putting off for a while and feel a weight lifted. I know that bearing our testimony is important, not only for us but for our loved ones in Heaven.
It's like the scripture Doctrine & Covenants 62:3...
"Nevertheless, ye are blessed, for the testimony which ye have borne is recorded in heaven for the angels to look upon; and they rejoice over you, and your sins are forgiven you."
My grandma has shared this scripture with me many times, and yesterday I felt this scripture in my heart.
I'm so grateful for my testimony and I truly cherish it.
Then we headed home and chilled there as a family. I took Emme on a walk where we saw beautiful flowers.
I will never get tired of hearing her say, "Hi Cam" hahaha.
Then we took family pictures! Here's a little sneak peak of our little tripod session. Although the pictures would have turned out better if I could have been behind the camera, I think we got some really cute ones! :)

We've had a blast on this trip!
Tonight we will all be heading home!

Deception Pass & LaConner.

Day 4 :)
We headed over to Deception Pass in the morning! The story behind Deception Pass is pretty cool, so I took a picture of it...if you can read it.
While there we saw an eagle, I tried to get a picture of it but this was as close in as my camera would go. That eagle chilled there for a good ten minutes.
It was such a beautiful view, it was a little crazy because the bridge has narrow side walks on each side and on one side there was a marathon going on, so we were a little nervous with little kids. Can you spot the eagle in this picture?
The view was breathtaking...
...on both sides.
The bridge is about 177 feet away from the water. I would get a little dizzy looking down for too long.
Then we headed down to the beach and skipped rocks for a while.
After Deception Pass, we made our way to La Conner, a cute little town full of adorable buildings. I made a couple of friends at Deception Pass, they were from Toronto and told me all about their visits to Washington and how their niece owned La Conner Brewing Co. We didn't eat there but it looked adorable, I thought I'd take a picture to remember my friends by.
I haven't posted far enough pictures of flowers, but they are so vibrant here and there are full floral hanging baskets all over the streets.
Street view of La Conner.
After walking the cute street we ate at Calico Cupboard.
Waiting for our table.
La Conner.
After our adventuring in La Conner we went to Lake Whatcom again to kayak a little longer. It was a lot of fun, and although Jeff won't admit it, I smoked him around the island!
For dinner we went to Fiamma Burger, it was adorable and the burgers were good too. I'm all about a good burger.
Inside Fiamma Burger, they had a fun style!
Then we went to a little park to scout out family picture spots. I won't tell you whether or not Steph mooned me hahaha but maybe Amanda's face can tell you hahahhaha.
Then we got back in time to see another sunset!
