Bigger + More Beautiful Than Ever

It’s the weirdest thing...
I’m heavier than I’ve ever been, my underwear is tight and causes a muffin top at times 😂, and I never wear makeup anymore due to lack of motivation BUT I’ve never felt more beautiful! Isn’t that crazy??
Infertility + pregnancy has made me realize that beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder and there is beauty and things to admire about yourself in every stage of life.
During infertility struggles I too often focused on negative things about myself when I should have taken time to be grateful and loved my “beauty” in the struggle. So whatever stage you’re in take a minute to write out 3 things you find beautiful about yourself! Ready...GO!
 1. I love seeing my tummy grow, it truly is beautiful to me!
 2. I love how strong I am in all situations... I've been raised to believe I can handle anything through my Savior and I truly believe it with my whole heart!
 3. I feel the "pregnancy glow" in full effect and it truly makes me feel beautiful!

So coming up with three things is harder than it may seem, but you are WORTH IT so take the time to list three things!!!!

3 Reasons Dresses Are Best When Pregnant

Remember when I asked where to shop for maternity clothes on my Instagram??
I got lots of great suggestions and I've shopped a lot of them but have found they are a hit or miss type of thing.
Well I found the perfect shop that has a HUGE SELECTION and it's online so it ships right to your house!!! @shoppinkblush has the cutest variety of clothes in all sizes (women, plus, maternity, maternity plus) for every style! For me, it doesn't get much better than that!!!
I’ve learned being pregnant in the desert summer I love dresses because...
 1. Cute and comfy, I feel like I’m ready for the day in the comfort of what feels like pajamas...
 2. Easier to go to the bathroom which is OFTEN now...
 3. I look for dresses that hide my constant sweat (TMI? 😂) and have pockets for my phone!
Do you love dresses being pregnant as much as I do???
What are your go to essential maternity wear during pregnancy??

New Maternity Wardrobe 12 Weeks In

I cannot believe how much growth I am seeing already in my belly! They say you typically don't start showing with your first till after the first trimester, I'm not sure what they say about twins and when you show, but I am blown away with my belly. My clothes have been fitting uncomfortably so I decided I'd get an early start on maternity clothes since I'm only going to get bigger and more uncomfortable!

My sweet nephew, Desmond William Scott was born April 29th and I got to meet him! There’s nothing like a sweet baby fresh from heaven, seriously there is nothing like it!!! God is amazing! It made me soo excited for when my sweet angels come.
We made a quick trip up to Salt Lake to see Brad graduate with his bachelors degree from the U of U!

Pregnancy Update: As far as "morning" sickness, I'm either getting used to it or its subsiding or I have more energy so I can plug through a little better. Instead of food aversions, I now and hungry CONSTANTLY and will pretty much eat anything to stop the gag reflex that comes with the hunger.
We have still been super busy with our family events, work, dance, etc. so that's making the time fly. We feel so blessed to be able to experience pregnancy and the gift of growing two beautiful little souls. Thank you for all your love and support along our journey of learning and growing!

11 Weeks Pregnant - Cost of IVF & FET

We got our sweet twins their first set of matching jammies! No we don’t know genders yet, but these are adorable for either and we couldn’t resist! We love you babies ❤️❤️
This week has been great! We are feeling overwhelmingly blessed!

We got a new guitar, had a kalamity performance, had a little getaway, and looked over how much we actually spent on IVF and FET so far! I'm feeling less sick than before but still pretty sick, it's just not as constant as it was the last few weeks, so that's really nice!!!

COST BREAKDOWN:
Egg Retrieval + Medications = $13,043.71
Frozen Embryo Transfer + Medications = $4,444.04
BRINGING OUR TOTAL FOR THE WHOLE PROCESS SO FAR TO.................
$17,487.75

That's a lot more than what we initially were hoping to spend but as we got going with everything and seeing how things kept coming and costs kept rising, it was actually less than what I thought we'd end up spending! So there's that to give you a better idea of what to expect as far as cost of IVF and FET!

Thank you for all the love and support, it means more than you know!!!

Pregnancy Week 10 End of IVF Shots

Feeling extremely grateful today!! I’m 9 weeks 4 days, sick as can be, and sooooooo grateful! We got to see the heartbeats of our two babes last Thursday and it was such a comforting and happy day. Infertility takes your anxiety of things going wrong at any moment to a whole new high and makes your efforts so much more calculated and researched.
Every time I hear their hearts I get chills and my heart wants to sing. Thank you for all your love and support during our journey and for encouraging me all along the way, I love you all!
Just casual mirror selfies showing the babies growth so far week by week! The woman’s body is seriously sooooo incredible! So much is taking place week by week in creating these beautiful babies, it literally blows my mind!!! For a long time I disliked my body because I couldn’t get pregnant, I couldn’t even have a regular period. I knew it was wrong to be so hard on myself but I couldn’t help it as I tried everything in my power to be normal. As I grow in size and feel sicker than I have before I love my body more than ever!!! Even when our body doesn’t look how we want or do what we want it’s important to remember to be grateful...I have a healthy body, I get to wake up every day and experience life, I am so blessed! Be kind to your body, be kind to yourself! You are amazing!!! Okay I’m done, goodnight!

We also had our last shot!!!!!! YAY!!!!! Hopefully my backside will gain feeling back haha.
I cannot wait to wake up and not worry about shots, which side to prick, or of I need to order more shots, now I’m just praying my body knows what to do hormonally on it’s own! I've been experiencing a lot of pregnancy symptoms... sickness, achey back, fatigue, mood swings, hunger, etc... and it's been great!!! I've found my sickness cure which is Coke hahaha (for now) so let's just hope it continues to help!

We are looking for ideas on how to do our gender reveal! So if you have any ideas please leave them in a comment below! We will be finding out the genders at our next appointment and we are SOOOO EXCITED!!!!

9 Week Ultrasound

These last two weeks have been hard on the sickness frontier! I've been so sick with the added need for sleep, but I'm figuring out what helps and I'm feeling better! It was such a treat and a relief to have our 9 week ultrasound and to hear and see such strong heartbeats.
Infertility struggles really take your anxiety in pregnancy really high and the days til the next ultrasound can't come fast enough as you worry about EVERYTHING!!!! But so far so good, THANK GOODNESS!!!!
We graduated from @utahfertilitycenter with this pregnancy ❤️ we are so grateful for all the help and support given us during our years of trying! Our nurses down here took wonderful care of us and we will miss them!
So yeah...we officially are done at the fertility clinic with this pregnancy so that was a bittersweet moment, and we will be meeting with our OB this week for our baseline appointment! We are feeling so blessed and excited with each passing day and are so grateful for all the love and support! THANK YOU!!!
Fun spontaneous date night celebrating the end of D Week at my alma mater and Jeff’s current school!! I’m all about free hot dogs and free popcorn 😂😂 and I found a new fav feel good song that will be on my repeat playlist all summer, “Give Me All” by Sammy Johnson, go download, your summer will thank me!!!
#perfect ❤️❤️❤️ that’s what @jefe_hauck sang last night at the Santa Clara pageant as the girls took their final work! He was amazing and so handsome 👌🏼👌🏼 It was a cool opportunity for Jeff

and I love when I get to support him in things he loves!

7 Weeks Pregnant with Twins

The first ultrasound of the twins from finding out we are having twins!!
See the two separate sacs??? That means we are having DI DI twins, which is best case scenario for twins meaning that it is the safest and most optimistic because they each have their own sac and will have their own placentas!

We are loving this journey and feeling so blessed. A few things to note on pregnancy for me so far... no motivation, naps are a must, that sick to my stomach feeling is pretty constant, food never sounds good, Jeff keeps spoon feeding me protein (haha what a good husband,) and I'm getting used to all of it so that's great!!! We are still keeping with the shots; progesterone in oil shot every morning, progesterone suppository at night, estrogen shots Tuesday and Friday evenings, and still taking metformin, baby aspirin, and my prenatal! We are plugging along anxious for our next ultrasound where we get to see the babies again, and praying hard everything keeps progressing normal and healthy!!!!
Thank you for all your love and support! We feel so blessed to have so much love behind us!!!
