Kalamity weekend!

We had an awesome Kalamity and Kaos weekend in Vegas!
Here's all our fun from photos...
I got my "Kisses for Kycie" shirt and was so excited to wear it!
We are selling them on our website if you want to get one and support Kycie!
Friday we met at the Vault at 4 am then made our way to Vegas! When we got there we prepped our homeless dinners and got ready for our assemblies.
I was bummed to sit this assembly out (due to videoing) but I got some really good shots so keep your eyes open for our assembly video.
It's such a blessing to be able to participate in life changing things, we are able to help kids choose a better life and have fun while doing it!
After our two assemblies we went home and prepped the hot dogs to put in our dinners.

Then we had a few minutes to relax before going and taking class.
This picture captures our team perfectly!
We went and took class at The Rock where we learned from an amazing choreographer (Leeko?) I think that was his name. Anyway, it was a blast and he was a great choreographer.
That evening we headed over to meet our cousins Michael and Julie to take our meals to the homeless.
It was a beautiful night!
I couldn't resist taking pictures.
It was an awesome day full of service and love!
After our busy day we headed to get some Yogurtland! It was Emilee's 18th birthday so I got her frozen yogurt, turns out the guy hooked us up and she got hers free! Haha!
Love these two! They got to ride on the train and Maze was so excited.
Saturday we went shopping then came back and relaxed! This was the view from my aunt's backyard as I relaxed by her pool.
That night we got ready and headed to the MJ show at the Rio.
It was the second to last night of the show.
After the show waiting for valet!
Saturday night everyone started getting sick and throwing up everywhere, so we took extra precautions and got every masks for the drive home.
Luci was the bus driver so she took EVERY precaution with tissues, wipes, hand sanitizer, and a mask.
A couple weeks ago I went to the D.I. and stumbled across this awesome frame and I know it was a message from my Grandpa. It's made of Hawaiian Koa wood, carved with tropical flowers, and says a special message. When I found it, I was a little down with different things in my life and this message just brought me peace. This frame had frames piled on it and it was face down, I was looking for thicker frames so I grabbed it and was amazed when I saw it. It didn't have a price tag on it so I took it up to the register and she gave it to me for $1.
I know that the Lord loves me and he allows my grandpa and other loved ones to send their love in different ways. Although I don't understand the Lord's plan for me, I have faith that He knows me better than I know myself and he has a perfect plan just for me. Faith is a lot harder than it sounds, but when we give our all our Savior's grace will make up the rest!
We celebrated my Grandma's birthday on Sunday and I showed her this frame and she just reassured me that it was a message from Grandpa! She is a strong woman with the most solid faith and I look up to her so much.
Then we woke up Monday morning to snow! Yes, SNOW! After a full week of 78 degrees we got snow, CRAZY!

It was an eventful week, and I didn't even cover everything that happened. It was an awesome week full of awesome people and memories.
I love my life!

Lots of love.

It's been a week full of love :)
Cheesy but true.
Dinner on the lawn soaking up the last of the daylight.
Figure ground homework assignment in graphic design!
You probably can't tell but it's a C and an H.
I came home to red roses, homemade dinner, and a beautiful card.
My husband knows me well!
Friday we were heart attacked, TWICE! :) The hearts on the grass from Mom Hauck (as part of the pay it forward facebook challenge), and the compliment hearts on the house from the Stokes!
We definitely felt loved!
Some of our cute hearts on the front door!
Friday we headed to my grandparent's cabin! On our way up we stopped in Kanab and hung out for a minute, that's where we met this cute guy. Jeff's dream dog is an english bulldog named Theodore, Theo for short, so this little wood statue was exciting for us.
Up at the cabin we shot, played games, napped, and learned how to run things while my grandparents are on their mission. While there, I always take a lot of pictures, this time Cec wanted to take pictures of me so I agreed and she captured some pretty shots.
She also did my hair in this awesome fishtail half up hair do!
Some fun shots in the field.
We couldn't resist with my big skirt.
 I love my sisters.
They are so beautiful and I would do anything for them.
Sisters are gifts.
I also love my husband...
...so so so much! Today he gave me a long hug when he came home from lunch and I had a moment of realization...
...realization that he really loves me so fully and so completely and that he will always be there for me NO MATTER WHAT. I have always known that but sometimes you catch glimpses that embed it into your soul, that was one of those moments. He's amazing, and he really has no idea how amazing he really is.
This picture is HILARIOUS to me, while up at the cabin we tried all these different social dance moves and failed epically at each one. Haha, it was so fun and we laughed forever, this is one of our fails hahaha.
The beautiful cabin we get to enjoy so much is all thanks to these two amazing people. They are such wonderful examples of hard work, love, and faith and I am so grateful for them.
They are going to be amazing missionaries in Nauvoo and I can't wait to go visit them!
The whole cabin crew! It was a fun last hurrah as a family before the mission!

It was a busy and fun week full of lots of love! I took WAY MORE pictures but these were my select few! I love my life and although it is not perfect, it is perfect for me. I learn something new every day and I feel like I become more of who I was meant to be each day and with each trial.
Life is a beautiful thing, enjoy it!

Mildly exciting.

This week has been mild and maybe a little uneventful, but here's what's been going on!
I'm really enjoying all my classes, they are working my brain over, but I am really enjoying it.
Here is one of my photoshop assignments.
A couple weeks ago Syd and her cheer team took state!
Cute little cheerleader, I wish I could have been there but we had a benefit concert the same night!
They were really amazing though!
Last Friday Kalamity had another assembly and this was the best on yet! These students were absorbing everything we were giving them and the feeling of hope was amazing!
That same night we went up to Cedar and performed at their annual Black Student Union Step Show, this was my 4th year performing there and it was eventful as usual! It's nice to go to an event you wouldn't normally go to and to get "cultured," I highly recommend it to everyone!
Sunday night Jeff and I took a nice walk up to the water tower! The weather has been dreamy and this walk was much needed!
This Friday Kalamity and Kaos are putting together this AWESOME one-of-a-kind fundraiser all in the name of love (your love and our love for Kycie!) So get dressed up and come have an awesome date night full of dancing all for $20! :)

This weekend we are headed to Glendale with the Horlacher family to be trained and enjoy one last family cabin trip before Grandma and Grandpa head to Nauvoo on their mission!
So expect pictures :) LOTS of pictures!

Mission calls and baby blessings.

This last week was an exciting and eventful week!
Amy got her mission call and Hudson and Alma Ty both were blessed.
It's such an exciting stage for both of our families with missions, babies, and weddings.
We are richly blessed!
She was called to the Hermosillo, Mexico mission and reports to the Mexico MTC June 24th! That’s just two hours north of where Trevor is!!! :)
Hudson was blessed!
Alma Ty was blessed!
And yes, I wore two different outfits to each blessing. I HAVE A PROBLEM.
I love my family!
Here is Angel and Cecilee's save the date video that I put together from their engagement photo shoot!
Amy's mission call opening! :)
My cute elder :) I love that smile!
